"This is definitely one of the best office chairs I have used so far in the last 12 years. It is very comfortable to work with a good back rest especially for people who sit in front of the pc for a long time, and when you need to relax, it helps to change positions easily. "This is perfect for anyone who has to work at a desk on a regular basis. Ive owned several office chairs in the past but none can compete with this one for ease of adjustment. The price might put some people off but I would think of it as an investment in your health as poor seating posture can cause long-term damage.

Assembly is fairly straight-forward but as others have found the bolting on of the rear section does need a bit of patience to align the bolts up carefully. I found it easier to have someone else hold the chair upside down so I could use both hands to align/tighten the bolts in."

Hidden Gem!
"I spend half my life sitting programming so I spent a couple of hours in John Lewis trying every office chair I could get my hands on, including the three types of Herman Miller chair. All of them had something that spoilt the comfort (hard plastic edge on seat, funny padding mould shape, poor lumbar etc.) , even the 800 pound ones. I saw the reviews of this chair and took a chance on buying a chair without trying it and Im glad I did. This is the best chair I have sat in at any price in 20 years of programming!

I ordered one yesterday afternoon, and it was with me this morning. Very well packaged too.

The previous review was very helpful though, you do need to jiggle the bolts by hand to get the back attached otherwise you can bur the bolt threads. Hand tighten all the bolts half way before using the Key to anchor them fully. That gives room to adjust for the awkwardly drilled holes in places.

I also agree with the other review, the customer service is superb. I mentioned a possible error with the instructions and they replied straight away saying theyd improve them if needed.

I went for the Lindo for 2 reasons:
1. It is shipped by thea UK based company, and so I expected better customer support.
2. The seat rises an inch higher (to 58 cm), and I have found seats to be too low for me in the past (this height is just right for me, and I am only 511").
The customer support has been great, and the chair is good.

Not having an adjustable headrest is not an issue if the chair is used in an upright position. However when the chair is reclined I end up using a small cushion to get my head in the right position. An adjustable headrest would thus be an advantage, and so the Cobham might be worth considering if you are not too tall.

I had some problems bolting the seat back to the base aswell. I got there in the end, but it was a bit of a struggle. Make sure that the bolts are exactly perpendicular to the base before screwing them in, or you can mess up the thread. (I ended up having to use a spare bolt as a "tap" to re-thread a nut set in to the base after getting this wrong.)

The adjustable lumbar support is good, but it seems it is possible to break it if you try and adjust it too much. However, thanks to the EXCELLENT, customer support I received a replacement part very quickly.

Otherwise the chair seems high quality and well designed. Also - I received a call on the day I made the order, telling me that the chair would arrive the next day ... which it did :)

Like others, issues with screw threads but perfect otherwise
"My chair arrived in parts to screw together. I managed to screwup one of the threads on one of the screws as the holes/screws are very very tight in some places, So I now am a screw missing.

But that being said, the chair is PERFECT, comfortable and much better than any other chair I have paid for before.

Im a software developer and sit in one chair for over 12 hours a day - not its this chair and Im very happy with it."
